Thai taxi driver beaten up by security guards after he overcharges customers

A public fight ensued at terminal 21 of Bangkok Airport in Thailand, between six security guards and a taxi driver.

A camera recorded the security guards approaching a taxi driver, then attack him physically – he was punched, kicked and hit with a pole.

The taxi driver also retaliated and protected himself in the altercation.

The fight was watched by a large group of people visiting/leaving the airport and shopping malls, whilst a bunch of neatly dressed men broke up the fight.

Once the fight was successfully stopped, the taxi driver then got up and ran away barefoot away from his red taxi towards a white car in the distance.

However, a further altercation is visible near the white car between the taxi driver and the security guards in the distant.

The initial customer complaint about the taxi driver was made to the security guards because he was not using the legal meter for charging his clients. The security guards responded over aggressively towards the taxi driver because of this complaint and taxi driver scam, and it got out of hand.
